Hey Jon,

I’m not sure if you remember me, but we met at FUEL and i’m the new youth pastor at Bethel. I’m really interested in getting a projector for the youth group at Bethel, but i’ve never bought one before and i’m not sure how to get one that’s bright enough and has enough resolution for the space i need without going overkill. (i’ll probably be using it mostly in the fellowship hall.) Are you aware of any companies that would bring 2 or 3 to the room you’re going to be using so you can see how it will work there? Or is there some kind of formula out there for finding out what you’ll need for a certain space?

Hope things are going well for you these days. thanks so much for your help.

My church just purchased a new projector and it cost us about $1000 after shipping. It’s a pretty great deal for 3000 lumens, which would work flawlessly in any room at Bethel. Don’t go below 2500 lumens as washout WILL occur in fluorescent light. In eco-mode, an energy saving mode, it runs slightly dimmer but gives you up to 4000 hours of bulb life, which is phenomenal!
